SILO - Focus and Study Timer to Boost Productivity
Platform: iPhone & iPad

Excited to be featured on Planet of the Apps! Enjoy this special limited time offer! SILO helps you stay focused on tasks and boost productivity. It uses silent haptic taps that nudge you to stay focused, and remind you to take breaks—while simultaneously preventing distractions from interrupting your focus. Emerging studies show that taking breaks between long periods of uninterrupted focus is a healthy way to increase productivity. Using the Apple Watch Taptic Engine (or iPhone), SILO delivers haptic cues that make it easy to work in focus-break intervals. To start, simply press "Focus". It's based on the 25-5 focus-break method (e.g. pomodoro or time boxing). After 25 minutes of focus, SILO taps you on the wrist to take a 5 minute break. After the break, SILO taps you again reminding you to get back to work, and the cycle repeats. Timers are adjustable so you can find your rhythm using different focus-break intervals. This combination of touch and time is a subtle but effective way to be more productive and aware of your time.
SILO also tracks your work-hours. Hours are automatically tracked during focus sessions. There's nothing else you need to do. Simply glance at your stats throughout the bi-week to see your progress. Complications on the Apple Watch face is a fast way to check the timer status—and gives you quick access to the app. Using SILO on the Apple Watch lets you work in quiet spaces (library or office) without disturbing others nearby. Also, distraction-free mode (Airplane mode) mutes incoming notifications so you can focus without interruptions from your phone. Whether working, studying, writing, or being creative, SILO is an effortless way to simplify your workflow.
